Thanate is allergic to coffee and cigarettes, and doesn't drink. Other than that, she leads a diverse lifestyle, sometimes digging holes in the ground for a living and playing with rusty nails and little bits of broken pottery, and sometimes making pretty things in the hopes that someday, someone might want to buy one of them (see also: etsy.) Her (far too numerous) hobbies include crafts of nearly all sorts from sewing through about half the known fiber arts to such scary things as stained glass and re-modeling barbie dolls, pampering a small horde of expensive resin dolls, reading (fantasy, historical fiction, other interesting stuff), writing (mostly fantasy), fencing (aka stabbing people with swords!), and playing with her computer. She likes many things including hats (bright light is evil), bones, small plastic toys, and horses, which should be in greater supply, even if it means having fewer people in the DC area so there is more pasture land.

Oh, and sometimes people call her Kade.
